Kippen Railway Station, now home to our brewery, sits at the foot of the Fintry Hills in the heart of rural Stirlingshire, with views across the Forth valley to the mountains of the South West Highlands. We brew modern interpretations of classic styles, with an emphasis on bold flavours and new world hops.

First opened in 1856, this busy Victorian railway station played an important part in Stirlingshire’s rich rural heritage. One of many stations on the Forth & Clyde Line, it was the routes second busiest stop, due to two creameries, a sandstone quarry and the Boquhan Brick & Tile Works using it as their main route to Glasgow, and two nearby country houses receiving visitors throughout the year.

Although closed in 1934, its industrial legacy continues today as Fallen Brewing Co. Living and working in such an inspirational setting makes us very aware of the natural environment around us – from our back door we can see the peaks of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi, Ben Venue, Ben Vorlich and Stuc a’ Chroin. We run our brewery using electricity from 100% renewable sources (via Good Energy), all our waste malt goes to local farmers for cattle feed, and waste hops are composted for the garden.

We brew our beers with pure, soft Scottish water, the highest quality malts, the best hops from around the world, and our favourite yeast strains. Our full range is unfiltered, and as our kegs and cans are unfined, they are also 100% vegan friendly.

Tasting Note:A refreshing, easy drinking lager-style beer with a fruity aroma and slightly spicy citrusy flavour. Try it with fish, shellfish, white meats, cheeses or anything spicy.

Tasting Note:Peat smoked malt, noble hops and dehusked roasted malt combine to give a complex, deep brown, smoky beer with a subtle fruity hop flavour. Try it with smoked, barbecued or roasted meat/fish, chipotle BBQ sauce or bitter dark chocolate.
